Comprehensive FAQ

These FAQs reflect the operational and contract terms in our service agreements.

What are your rental durations and holdover charges?

Standard options are 1-day, 3-day, and 7-day rentals. If pickup access is not available by the agreed return time, holdover charges apply at $100/day.

Do you charge rental tax and what is taxable?

Texas motor vehicle rental tax applies to trailer rentals (10% for 1-30 days, 6.25% for 31-180 days). Delivery, mileage, and certain surcharges are itemized separately.

What extra surcharges should I expect for special items?

Common surcharges include mattresses ($55 each), appliances ($25-$50 each), tires ($35+ each), and heavy inert materials like concrete/dirt/brick based on weight.

Do I need to be present for delivery and pickup?

Not always. We can deliver and pick up without on-site presence when instructions and access are clear. Gate or access issues can delay pickup and trigger holdover fees.

What happens if prohibited materials are found?

We may refuse transport, stop the job, and apply actual disposal costs plus surcharges. Undisclosed hazardous or restricted items are customer responsibility.

Do you have loading limits?

Yes. Do not exceed GVWR (14,000 lbs), do not load above side rails, and distribute weight evenly. Overweight or overfilled loads can cause extra fees.

Who is responsible for property or surface damage?

Normal operational marks/ruts can happen due to heavy equipment. We recommend clear, stable placement zones and boards. Liability follows agreement terms.

Can contractors request Net 15 or Net 30 billing?

Yes, for approved contractor accounts. We may require personal guaranty and insurance documentation depending on account terms and project scope.

Do I need permits for street placement?

Private-property placement usually does not require permits. Street/public right-of-way placement may require city permits. We can guide you before delivery.

Can I request swap-outs or extension days?

Yes. Request through your dashboard or by call/text. We schedule based on route availability and apply extension or service fees when applicable.
